The Diaspora Civic Engagement Forum 2024, held on December 9 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, is an event dedicated to fostering collaboration between members of the diaspora, policymakers, and civic leaders from both Kosova and its global diaspora. This forum seeks to advance strategies for enhancing civic engagement and strengthening connections between civil society organizations (CSOs) in Kosova and the diaspora.
The Ulpiana Forum is an international, network-driven initiative addressing the rapid change, mobility, and volatility that characterize our time. These shifts bring both challenges and opportunities, reshaping economies, societies, and political landscapes worldwide.
Diaspora communities are among the most resilient and adaptable in this dynamic context, a reality increasingly acknowledged by policymakers and stakeholders. A recent report by the EU Global Diaspora Facility, which surveyed 110 countries, identified 439 active diaspora institutions globally, underscoring the importance of diaspora engagement.
