Qemajl Aliu is the current mayor of Shtime. Born on February 19, 1983, in Shtime, he graduated in general medicine from the University of Tirana and specializes in internal medicine. He has worked in Kosovo, Germany, and Albania, including as a specialist at the University Hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” in Tirana. A member of Vetëvendosje! since 2006, he co-founded its Health Committee and led the local branch in Shtime. As mayor, he focuses on improving youth, education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the municipality.
