Krasniqi

Elbert Krasniqi is the current Minister of Local Government Administration and leader of the New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo (IRDK). He has previously served as a Member of Parliament and as Deputy Chairman of the Peja Municipal Assembly. Krasniqi holds a degree in law from the University of Prishtina and a master’s degree in diplomacy from Skopje. He has been active in local government and community issues since 2007, working on regional and international projects. Krasniqi has also held leadership roles in the Balkan Network for Local Democracy and the Italian Association Trentino con i Balcani.
