Monique Sochaczewski is an international historian based in Rio de Janeiro. Expert in the history and current affairs of Brazil’s relations with the Middle East, she focuses her research, particularly on issues of immigration, foreign policy, culture, and geopolitics. Monique is a Senior Researcher at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), a Permanent Professor at the Brazilian Institute of Teaching, Development and Research, and a frequent collaborator to the Brazilian media on topics regarding International Relations, Brazilian Foreign Policy and the Middle East.
