Florian Krins is head of the component of regular migration and diaspora cooperation within the global programme “shaping development-oriented migration (MEG)” on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). He also worked in different positions at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), focussing on different topics of migration, by managing programs on behalf of German State and Federal Ministries.  He holds a Masters degree from Hamburg University in Chinese Studies, Political Science and German Literature.
