Ms. Ermina Lekaj Prljaskaj, is a three-term Member of the Croatian Parliament, representing the Albanian, Bosniak, Montenegrin, Macedonian and Slovenian national minorities. She has also served as Leader of the Croatian – Albanian parliament association, and was a member of the committees on Legislation, Domestic politics and national security, Human rights and minority rights, Constitution, Rules of Procedure and political system. She was born in Prizren and lives in Zagreb. She graduated from Faculty of Law in Rijeka, and completed doctoral studies at Faculty of Law in Mostar. She is an honorary citizen of Lezhe, and has been awarded a recognition by the President of Albania for exceptional results in the promotion of Albanian diaspora.
