SUMMARY:Ulpiana Forum 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Ulpiana Forum is an international\, network-driven initiative addressing the rapid change\, mobility\, and volatility that characterize our time. These shifts bring both challenges and opportunities\, reshaping economies\, societies\, and political landscapes worldwide. \nDiaspora communities are among the most resilient and adaptable in this dynamic context\, a reality increasingly acknowledged by policymakers and stakeholders. A recent report by the EU Global Diaspora Facility\, which surveyed 110 countries\, identified 439 active diaspora institutions globally\, underscoring the importance of diaspora engagement. \nLed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosova\, the Ulpiana Forum draws on the diplomatic and developmental capabilities of states and their partners to strengthen diaspora engagement. This forum serves as a multi-stakeholder platform that promotes dialogue on diaspora impact and strategically enhances partnerships in this essential field. \nThese partnerships provide a strong foundation for states to connect with diaspora communities more intentionally\, advancing contributions that address contemporary challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities in today’s rapidly changing world.

SUMMARY:Diaspora Diplomacy School 2025
DESCRIPTION:Opening ceremony of the first edition of the School for Diaspora Diplomacy\, organized by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora. \nThis school is a thank you to our diaspora in many ways for allowing us as a country to step into a leadership role in convening and curating new knowledge and partnerships on diaspora engagement. It is exciting to hear that you will be learning more from our diaspora through this school during the Diaspora Power Talks. You will see how they are leading Kosova into new worlds of opportunity and for that\, we thank them very much. \nAt a time of uncertainty and of unparalleled geopolitical changes and challenges\, we look forward to breaking new ground and creating more positive change through an inspiring community.
